Disclaimer

On this website are quotes from the ancient and the modern world. There are also references to sources of information. I can make no claim for the accuracy of any translations involved nor am I in any way responsible for the maintenance of the information on other websites. This website will be kept as up-to-date as is reasonable and periodically links will be checked to ensure that websites referred to are still available. However, this is a never ending task and it is certain that something on the site will always be wrong. In the early days of my exploration I may inadvertantly use mis-quotes provided by other sources. At least until I have a much stronger foundation in the Stoic philosophy I will be taking at face value the quotes others provide. If I should be fortunate enough that you read the site and make use of the information contained please do so in the spirit in which I created it.

Epictetus

“If you want to improve, be content to be thought foolish and stupid.”
